It’s an SEO technique of finding old, abandoned blogs that will allow you to add a link to your site. Google ranks higher sites that have a lot of links back to their site. But, this is a live site, and the comment spam is polluting the discussion. I recommend using some of the awesome wordpress anti-comment spam plugins available and delete any comments in here that don’t specifically address an issue.
